Haaa.....bloomin' freezing cold here in scotland Bobo.
Really nice shots but the wee fella is just a bit special. I was going to suggest a crop but then realised how much it would lose and remembered I am an idiot!
Lovely..and also lovely to see YOU back.
Don't be saying that to them. The tourists won't come and make us rich! 'Bracing' is the word.
I agree re the pics. On the first one, I love the light on that child's hair. I'd wonder about putting a catchlight onto his eye, given that there isn't one there naturally. As it is, his eyes look a bit black and menacing.
Hi Bobo!
Good series. I too am a bit partial to the young man. I really like the mono finish.
I might have seen about darkening the background a bit to see if he might "jump out" more if I were processing this nice shot. Might even have tried lifting the shadows around his eyes a bit to see if I could do it convincingly. My eye runs a bit toward a little more contrasty, but that's just me!
At some point (maybe right now) I would have, to quote one of my favorite Famous Photographers...
I hate it when I do that and it seems that it happens with alarming regularity!
Thanks Sharon and Donald.
Freezing?? The weather is really strange. Back home it is 10s or lower. Here it is 20-30c though it rains more then not.
Catchlight - there is something in both eyes but too faint to come through at this size. Maybe I can brighten it up a tad and see how it turns out.
Terry - Thanks.
I feel that way more often then I would admit.
Will re-work #1. It is a clean and good shot so should not present too many problems.
Good set Bobo. Love the expression in the last.
Thanks Paul.
I have a series of shots of these girls and strangely each time the one on the left put the thing into her mouth the chubby one will open her mouth wide.
Thanks Dave.
Of course that only came out in the pics, did not notice anything odd when taking them.
