Hi Kevin. I think you've captured very well what you saw in your exploring. Judicious use of shutter speed, in particular, in addition to paying attention to the other technical settings and composition makes this a pleasing set of images to view. Thank you for posting!

I think maybe I need to adjust my output sharpening, it isnt quite the same as it appears in LR

For me, the third image is the stand-out. I think it has the strongest compostion and the most interest. Processing is spot on IMO too. Very nice.

I was fearful images one and three looked a little "overcooked HDR", though it wasnt shot that way. Processed in LR4, mostly bringing up exposure in shadows
