Maybe to close. My first attempt with the Nikkor 50mm 1.2 with extension tubes. May be a little harder to set up than with the 18-105mm but could just be my lack of experience with this lens. Seems to require more distance from the front of the lens than the 18-105 but it also seems to give more DOF. Looks like this lens may give better results. Poor light and f16, 36mm extension, straight from the camera except for auto adjust using curves in aperture. A T-storm was coming so I was in a bit of a hurry. But enough excuses. Definitely a view of this flower I had not seen before.

Looks like you will have some fun with that tube. I like the comp in the first one. Nice colors too!

Everything the same except using the 20mm tube.
