    A Rare Visit

    Last week it was a snake on the roof and this week it was a Tawny Frog mouth flying around inside our house. This little gem posed for me about 2.5 metres away. I resisted the temptation to use a flash as it would have ruined it's night vision for a while. These are a rare bird to see and belong to the nocturnal owl family. C&C welcome.

    Jealous is the proper word to use here.

    You were right not to use the flash - against owls in particular. Day birds on the other hand do not quite mind but that is from just one try last year, could be wrong.
