Glossy Ibis Landing...C&C Appreciated

Now that summer and hot days have arrived in Florida I am going back into what I shot this winter and post processing. Here are three that I shot of a Glossy Ibis coming in for a landing and in the process surprising a Moorhen.

Great shots Joe! I look forward to seeing them as you go through them. Nice job on the exposure. Looks like it could have been a tough one.

Thanks Paul, your right about the exposure. I had to work to display detail in what was heavy shadows. It is rare when something interesting to shoot happens with perfect light.

Hi Joe, I like the first image composition but it looks a bit soft on the head. Image #3 is much sharper and the Moorhen adds more interest.

Glad to say that your Glossy Ibis and Moorhen looks exactly the same as ours.
