Luminosity Masks
After reading Richard's "haze reduction" link I found another very instructive you-tube video on luminosity masks for post processing in Photoshop.
Don't we at times struggle with how to alter highlights or shadows only and find it difficult to get the right selection?
Well this instructive video gives an advanced method which I hope you will all appreciate.
Cheers

Yes thanks Patrick, very interesting. It made me realise how little I really know about PS. But it also gave me some new directions to follow up on.

Frank and Dave. Glad that you also found it interesting. It's just so much knowledge out there to be used in photography PPs

Re: Luminosity Masks
Personally, I'm one of those people for whom a video tutorial just doesn't sink in. I must have a printed version.
There is a pdf tutorial 'Masking by Numbers' on this site, and a few other useful items.
