Bit late now you've bought it! its a good start up body enjoy it.
That depends on your reason for buying this particular brand and model camera. If you bought it just because you could get a good price, then the question becomes what do you want to do with the camera?
I love mine, it takes very good pictures, but as a paperweight, it's just too darn expensive!
mmm Frank!! think you mean I take good pictures with it!!
Hi Samir,
He so does! (Frank - takes good pictures, I mean)
Welcome to the CiC forums from me, great to have another Nikon shooter
What lens(es) did you get with it?
After the photographer, the lens makes a bigger difference than the camera body.
Cheers,
As a Nikon user I have since recent a D3100 in my collection and I find it to be extremely user friendly and compact. I presume you have an 18-55 lens and possibly 55-200 as well.Trust me as an entry DSLR you have many hours of learning and fun ahead of you.Nikon manuals are cumbersome, this site is such a wealth of inspirational learning.I keep a low profile as I am no techno geek but in my short time I have learnt a lot.Get to know your camera really well , understand exposure elements, start off with good natural light stationary objects and progress.Don't try learning it all at once, techniques, composition and editing,I made that mistake and got horribly lost in the process.Join a camera club if possible.Leave the 55-200 for now.
Enjoy!
bought two lenses one nikon vr DX 18-55mm and one 55-200mm. does it take good macro and land scape photo.
The most versatile general purpose lens is an 18-200,so your two cover that.Macro photography is a highly specialized field requiring additional equipment in terms of lighting , lens, remote trigger and a tripod and I would say close ups yes - flowers etc.The 18-55 can produce very good landscape photos, again a tripod is recommended and perhaps later some filters which for your lenses-52mm are relatively inexpensive.
Dear siggi
India is a place of versetile society I like capturing dynamism and versetility of it and ofcourse the orthodox traditionalism
can you tell me about any web site or any other media that mey show iterest in my work or to whom I can send my work for ventilation.
I am an amateur, post some images on this site and request comments, google is a good option to get information.
soon i will thanks. got a friend here !!!!
I try not to read reviews after I have purchased an item, it only makes you doubt your own abilities to make an intelligent decision and lessens the fun you should be having with your new camera.
