Also having issues with prints arriving too dark

Hi

This is my first poto to this excellent forum.

I am having the same problem with my printer printing too dark compared to screen.

My Samsung LCD monitor is calibrated using Pantone Huey Pro. And I am using Photoshop CS4 with profiles supplied by Permajet using their profiling service.

Is the problem really just due to incorrect calibration of my monitor? Or is it someting due to the brightness of the screen?

I did follow all the instruction from Permajet when doing the profiling prints. The colours do seem ok but the prints are consistently dark.

Can anybody provide any help to this newcomer please?

Great to have you with us.

I think your meaning "first post" rather than "first photo" - unfortunately - it's quite hard to diagnose these kinds of things unless we do have a photo to work with ...

... so it would be great if you could post an image for us to take a look at.
