I just want to know how you came up with that screenname?

Were both shot through the window, the bird shot looks good considering the shooting setup. Could use some contrast adjustment in PP. The flower looks fine, some hot spots visible but nice colors.

Hi Carolyn...been wrestling with peonies this week...a nightmare flower that is either so tight as to lose detail and ( ten minutes later) so loose that the petals get clipped. You managed well.

    Congrats on getting that second.shot through a window....mine aren't that clean..erm.

Thanks John- only the bird was taken through the window. The peony had the lens thrust directly into its face.

I have taken lots of the bird box. Waiting for one to be Super in angle and composition, before spendng time on PP but this was the best today. It can be done- I captured a chick's first flight last year. I hope to do it again this year but as a much better image than I managed then. Less luck, more judgement. Maybe.

The screen name is a long story, I use it on several sites- I was once introduuced to a Ukranian guy called Klymchuk. I thought they said 'Plumchip' and it stuck as a tease. Bunty is from an English girls comic of the 50s and 60s. Bunty was a sort of ' jolly hockey sticks' gal.

Thanks Sharon- My neighbour once thought my window was open and panned her face on it, LOL.
It is a north facing window in a sort of garden alcove between 'wings' , so I don't have too many problems with reflections, unlike at the front where many a shot bounces back at me if I try to photograph the wildlife out there throuugh the window, which is a pity because there is a lot.
