Colin - I think once again, we are essentially saying the same thing.

My original point was really directed at one of the responses that said that getting a crop-frame sensor means are going to get more magnification out of it versus a full-frame. We both got into the caveats around that statement...

That's the point though - for all intents and purposes - it IS a free "focal length multiplier" - I was at a loss to understand why you were saying "I know that this is commonly believed out there, but unfortunately, it's really not what happens".
