New Member from the Midwest

Greetings from the Midwest! I'm Sarah and I hail from Iowa in the US. I've always loved photos and memory keeping but my interest in photography has dramatically increased over the past year or so. Just recently the photography bug also bit my husband and we are very excited to have a common hobby. We currently have a Canon Rebel XT but decided to make the switch to Nikon. We ordered a D7000 which is being delivered tomorrow. We'll hang on to the Canon for a bit so that we each have a camera and eventually, we'll order another Nikon. So we are spending all of our spare time learning, reading, shooting, and editing. He is more into landscape/nature while my main interest is people. Someday down the road we hope to turn our hobby into a small side business. Glad to have found this website and forum!

So that you don't continue to get people asking you what your proper name is, because most us use that on here, you can go to Edit Profile and enter your proper name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts. You can also enter your location so that it does the same, just as in my details alongside this message. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.
