Just wanted to say hello, I just joined today. This site looks fantastic. I have been photo editting as a hobby for a few years. (self taught= not so good ) I got a pentax K-r last September and I have it around 11,000 photos and have 7 lens, 2 flashes, and (self taught = not so good) .... lol.. long and short -I enjoy taking photos of grandchildren (well basicly anybody or anything that will sit still for me) I am addicted to learning - I love looking through the other photos (art) I am amazed what other people can do with their imaginations and talent.

I'm glad that you like what you've seen of CiC so far. I hope that you find, now that you're part of the forum, that the place is populated by friendly, helpful people who are willing to share knowledge and experience so that we can all learn together (If not just let me know and we'll take them out back and deal with them).

Hi Jeanette and welcome. There are a couple of others on here from you're neck of the woods so maybe your paths will cross. Lots of information here and plenty of good advice to learn from.
