A couple from this morning
Been busy lately, so not much time for photography, but here's a couple. D7000, 16-85, comments welcome.

Nice work, especially #2 which has a nice, crisp feel to it for me, which relates to the seeming weather there at the time, cold and crisp. The hot air balloon adds a nice interest feature and gives a 'story' line to the pix for me.

I really like the layers and textures in the second one, and of course, the balloon. Consider cropping the sky where it changes from yellow to blue to emphasize the layers.

Beautiful part of the world you are in there Jeff.
I love the second photo. The balloon makes the image for me setting an obvious focal point and giving you a sense of scale, then you explore the rest of the image.
Maybe the shadows could be lightened slightly to show some detail in the foreground if you wanted.
Great work Greg

Beautiful scenes Jeff. Well worth getting up early for. Good colours, composition and exposure. The balloon really gives that photo perspective in regard to distance and hight.

Another vote for #2. A nice place to live and a great photo Jeff.

I like #1 - the orange glow adds a little warmth. I love those sort of mornings. Are you able to tell us what the settings were?
