Hi all
A quick post to say hello. I joined a very little wile ago after scouting about for a photo community to join and Very much liked the feel of CiC !
I would describe myself as a keen amateur completely self taught and with a burning desire to improve (a lot!).
I am currently interested in photographing water drips, a subject that im finding is more complicated than I could have imagined! I also enjoy portraiture, landscape and dabble with digital art.
This is technically my second post as I have just entered the 'open subject' mini compatition, a shot I took with my only camera, a Canon 50D. Lenses I use include
Canon ef-s17-85mm usm
Canon ef-s10-22mm usm
Canon ef 50mm prime f1.8 mk1
Canon efs 18 - 135mm.
A half decent tripod and a few speedlites pretty much competes the contents of my bag!
Im looking forward to getting involved with the CiC community!

I'm very glad that you think this could be your sort of forum. I do hope that's confirmed over the next short while and that you'll become one of the regulars inhabiting this little corner of cyberspace.

Actually, at the moment Im re building the power supply for my home grown drip/collision contraption. if it works, (I'll test it in a minute) I need to re write the code driving the Arduino (micro processor) that controls the size and timings for the drips!
Hopefully, Ill get better results with the new setup and I'll be able to share my results. Going to take some time yet though !

Will be very interested to see your drip images when you post. Something I have yet to try.
