Tried using flash and dialing down the exposure to shoot at noon under the direct sun. How did I do?

Not bad at all; I would just crop the second one a bit more on the left hand side - so that the flower pot wasn't in the shot.

You are right, that would be the 50th thing I had to remember. I sometime forget to check the ISO before I start shooting...

But honestly, it is not that subtle to get into the category of visible lines. It is the actual nappy!

Thanks, Antonio! This one was actually planned, although I did not get the ball in the frame. I was playing with the flash and camera dials to get the exposure right and by the time I finally got those right, the action was over. It usually gets late too soon...
