Perth City at Night
Perth, Western Australia that is
Practicing my long exposure shots so I headed into the city last night and took these couple of shots - comments would be appreciated as I am learning.

Good use of the "magic" time for photography.
I have found that in most places, mid-Winter is a great time to shoot cityscapes during the "magic" hour. That is because twilight and nightfall comes very early during mid-Winter. It is often dusk around 4:30 PM or so. Most offices are still open and thus, most of the building lights are still on at theat time. The lighted windows increase the interest in the image...
