I am a swimming coach (as a hobby). The swimming pool owner decided to cancel and derogate the team. This guy was a swimmer who has to decide now what he must do or what he can do for a future he has no idea about!

Firstly, I can imagine it is hugely frustrating for you and the members of the team that the owner has taken such action, especially for this athlete who, from what you say, may have to give up his sport.

As far as the image is concerned, I think it was taken on bright light. I wonder if it woudl be helpful to pull back the exposure slightly, just to reduce the intensity of the highlighted areas? This would, for example, then result in more detail being seen in the man's shirt.
