No real plan here, just trying a little of this and that with lots of layer masks to selectively vary/eliminate the effects: emboss, Topaz Clean. Looks a little over-processed but I'll go with it. Tried to warm it just a little. Mainly tried to change the shading and saturation on the various green areas to contrast between them. Selection skills are skimpy!

    Greetings All
After downloading PP#13 JPEG in Photoshop
Created a low resolution of image in order for the filter to super-enhance the image (snapshot did the trick)
Curves adjust RGB channels Red: Output 126 Input 112 Green: Output 105 Input 95 Blue: Output 133 Input 123
UNDER STYLIZE - go to DIFFUSED- under Mode click Anisotropic
AI for all type manipulation border illustration etc
Hope you like the work PP Challenge #13
Any questions please let me know & I will explain how it was done

My apologies to jhatter if it looks like I have copied his idea but I have been working on this for a week or so before his post so it seems that we both had a similar idea at the same time. The big problem for me and what took so long, was that I wanted to get the whole pic into the glass and I also wanted it to look as if it was a magnified/distorted view on the curved surface of the glass. I fiddled around with puppet warp and a couple of other ideas but finally found a dead simple way that seemed to work quite well. As usual I learned a lot in the process which in the end is the main reason to do the PP challenges.

    Hope you like it.

    Hi,
Please find the below edited picture -
    Procedure -
    1. warmed the picture a little by increasing the temp and decreasing the tint
    2. Decreased the exposure
    3. Increased the blacks in the picture
    4. Increased brightness and contrast
    5. increased the hue of yellow and orange. Increased the saturation of yellow a little and decreased the luminance
    6. Added some vignetting

Your entry had my wife and me laughing our socks off. I spent hours doing the 'Wayne's Car' entry but to put it into this comp is genius, or lunacy I am not sure which. Whatever the case thanks for a great laugh. And not a bad pic either.

I was struggling with the image of the pesticides advertising a food product, so I tried to turn the idea around. I used Filter>Artistic>Poster Edges and a vignette.

    PP Challenge #13

    - adjusted the contrast using Levels
    - sharpened the image with the Unsharp mask
    - created a vignette effect using the selection tools and feathering
    - set type in Goudy Old Style 14 pt Bold, with a layer style of drop shadow

It's lunacy. I got this way from trying to figure out what to do with that car in the previous challenge.
