    Hi Shawn
Three nice pics! Memories for the family album! However for me, the top picture stands out as a good image in its own right. The shallow depth of field combined with the black behind the subject and muted brown to the right really makes the subject stand out, as does the vignette effect. I like the low shooting angle and the light from the window?? casts a nice shadow under the mortar board and her neck further drawing attention to her face. Your daughter looking towards the light, rather than at the camera gives the image a 'natural' or 'relaxed' feel that I like. Would be nice to tidy up the stray hair to the right.(A little job for Photoshop!). All in all, a nice image

I'd agree with Philip. All three are nice, the second two are good snapshots, but the first is a photograph.

I will go along with the above comments... I love image #1. Everything about it works for me. But, the busy backgrounds of #'s 2 & 3 do not compliment the subjects...
