Cheetah
Early morning and this female emerged from cover to cross an open area of grass. The low sun highlights her powerful chest and shoulders. I love the intense look on her face and the characteristic black “tear-drop” marking is clearly seen. The plain grass background made the cheetah stand out.
C&C welcomed.

Re: Cheetah
Clive, very nice shot. I love the detail. The intensity that this cat shows is almost identical to the mountain lions here in Wyoming. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Cheetah
Lovely shot, I like it, maybe if you could blend in the slight bright spot under her neck.
Best Wishes Pat.

Re: Cheetah
Again, great work Ciive. I love the focus which she is showing and the sun hitting her front on looks great. Very nice composition.

Re: Cheetah
Hi Clive. What a treat to see such a beautiful cheetah. I grew up in Zimbabwe and was in Botswana a couple of years ago - Okavango, Moremi and Chobe and whilst we saw an abundance of wildlife including lion and close range and a leopard in the middle distance, we didn't see a cheetah. If you don't mind me asking, what part of Botswana was this taken? Kim

Re: Cheetah
Hi All, many thanks for the positive comments and time taken to view.
Hi Kim, I'm also an ex-Zim from Bulawayo but been in Botswana for ten years now. This image was taken in the Tuli Block in the Mashatu area, a really unique place.
