Morning Sky

Shot this sky this morning, critique, thoughts, and comments more than welcome, Best Wishes, Pat

I'm seeing this as very much an image of two halves - the dark cloud in the bottom and the sunrise above it. I wondered if it was cropped at the bottom to show a bit of that dark cloud, but not as much (maybe into something like a 2:1 ratio), whether that would 'join up' the two parts a bit better?

Hi Donald,
I grasp what you mean by an image of two halves and think I could be making a mistake doing that with some of my images,
here is one that was shot not long after the first one and maybe it is more of a one image photograph than one of two halves,
