    Thanks Mike.

I left it there ( it's my other window) for the hugely technical reason..................... that I like it.
Cloned it out and I missed it so yes..purely down to my whimsy.

The best technical reason I can imagine. Another great example of why it's so important to attain total command of the technical issues.

Well I could waffle on about how I felt the light reflection provided a necessary counterpoint to the overall matte nature of the piece but.......I just prefer it there to not there. lol

I dont know here to start with my compliments Sharon. The cloth draped around the flower is a master stroke and the soft light which results from it is superb. This image has a feel to it of an old picture taken long ago. I love the shades in the cloth which are so subtle but make the difference. As good as it is, I wonder what it would look like in B&W?

    Thank you Richard and wayne.

Not certain how it would convert Wayne...probably better to sepia than black and white.

    I will go and see.

Thank you so much for your comments..I had no natural light. was balanced on a stepladder with an LCD craft light in one hand, and my camera in the other ..the muslin blu tac'd to the widow kept falling off and yet ...it came together.

Sometimes vision and dumb luck IS enough. lol
The feeling is breath tacking, simply!
He,he. Yep, I often ask myself what would people say if they could see me tacking pictures of bugs? The fun is in getting what we see in the camera, the posture may give some pain in unexpected places, yes?

I don't have a Flickr account (I'm using SmugMug at the moment), and know little about it... but you've got me looking into it a bit more now..!
