Sharon, you have a unique talent for evoking thoughtful emotions with your images and for me, this one is one of your best.
Thank you Frank...I hae to admit that this one gave me a bit of a tingle myself.
Ah such fun that can be had with a Saki jar, a baby's muslin a rose and some blu-tac!
Just you steady on there. Not sure that Ainster's ready for 'tingles'!
That is a superb piece of work. Is it the best thing you've put up onto the forum? Probably, in my opinion. It's one of those that induce an intake of breath when you open it up and see it for the first time.
Acht ye havenae lived until yev 'tingled' in Ainster Donald.
Thank you so much for your comments..I had no natural light. was balanced on a stepladder with an LCD craft light in one hand, and my camera in the other ..the muslin blu tac'd to the widow kept falling off and yet ...it came together.
Sometimes vision and dumb luck IS enough. lol
That is very good
Thank you George.
Can I just share with you how happy I am.
This shot got me my first 'Explore' on flickr...and my account has had nearly 1000 views today as a result
...am flabbergasted.
I know you all got your first explore when you were two but nfor me this is a big deal.

I have to agree. This is lovely. Congratulations on explore! I currently have 18 (and have had 19) in explore but I've never had 1000 hits in a day, nor anywhere close. Great job. Be proud.
Hi Donald..your pic appears in the explore categpry and your stats go mental..and people congratulate you.
Thank you lovely...I just wanted to run over here to my mates and say..whoot!
Also..I submitted the pic to another forum who 'messed about with it'..but it was the origuinal that got the explore.
Phillip..thank you so much and Matt..19.!!! wow..I feel silly now....am still proud though.
Sharon, I don't always respond to the threads, but your flower
pics are generally the first thing I look for when I visit the forum.
Very special images...each and every one.
Would love to see this one on canvas with nice matting and frame!
Mike
Just beautiful!
After looking at this, I'm getting sooooo discouraged with my PP skills, I'm ready to throw in the towel!
.........back to the books and videos........
Thank you Mike
Kris....go with the feeling..it never lets you down.
And the second time, the third time, the fourth time...
How did I miss this image?
Sharon: Is there a specific reason you left or placed the rectangular reflection on the shoulder of the bottle? It's hard to imagine that anything would improve this image, yet I would prefer not to see the reflection.
