What a Galah !!
Hope you're not all birded out by now (and haven't there been some beauties lately). Here is my effort from this afternoon in the front garden - a Rose Breasted Cockatoo, commonly called a Galah here in Australia. The term Galah is also a slang word used to describe someone who's a bit dim-witted.

Re: What a Galah !!
That will do very nicely! Superb detail.
I wondered about a crop at the right hand side (to just inside the leaves of that branch towards the top right) in order to take the bird off dead-centre ......... but then I changed my mind. I think the leaves at the right are maybe needed to balance up the leaves on the left.

Nicely done Dave. What a pretty bird. Looks like he has a deformed foot, poor guy. Great detail!

Very nice lighting and detail Dave.
I think I would shave 5% width (or less) off on right hand side.
Cheers,

Re: What a Galah !!
Thanks Donald, Paul, Dave and Sharon for your comments.
I hadn't noticed his foot Paul but it does appear to be abnormal.
Dave and Donald, a small crop off the right hand side would be worthwhile as it would remove those bright spots which are a little distracting.
Sharon your birds might be a bit brown but the Scottish (speech) accents are colourful.![Smile](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/smile.png)
