Was waiting in a carpark next to a patch of flowers and why waste the opportunity.

Got a few strange looks and a few "what am I doing" type questions.

Then there was this pretty young lady who came up, held out her iphone and asked if I could take a pic of her against the pond behind the parking area.

Next time this happens to me, I must say "Sure no problem, may I take one with mine too?"
Has to be the easiest way for a shy guy/gal to get a picture

Doesn't have to be a pretty young lady (in fact it's usually a couple), but of course (for me) that helps

Thanks Dave - that thought only came up afterwards. Aging brain = slow reactions.

Shooting bugs and birds is not the same. Bugs we slow right down, birds is like a 1000 times more hyper. So that might have affected the reaction times.

Another nice set Bobo! Have you considered croping out most, but not all of the out-of-focus foreground in the first one? It looks to be sharp enough the handle the crop.

Yes, there is more then enough space all round for another crop. Is'nt all that great a shot anyway so will just leave it as it. Have better ones taken on the weekend. hehe.
