Well I am happy that you are happy with it.
Obviously the light was very bright and red can prove a bit difficult under those conditions. It's a lovely structural plant but loses a little focus on the spikes.
Maybe try taking it at a different time of day to bring out more of the subtelties away from the harsh light.
What is the plant Toby? ..I don't think I have ever seen it before.
