Hello to all. My name is Jim and I just joined the forum. I'm a semi-serious hobbyist photographer located in Colorado, USA. I shoot with several cameras, including Nikon D7000 and D5000 DSLRs, and Canon G10, S100, and a few other compact cameras, depending on the circumstances. I shoot mainly landscapes and nature, in particular intimate landscapes in the tradition of Elliot Porter, as well as travel photography while vacation. I'm also starting to dabble a bit in macro photography. I have a small gallery of some of my favorite shots at jmcarp.smugmug.com . I look forward to learning from this forum and from the many tutorials on the Cambridge in Colour main site.
Jim

Hi Jim and welcome to CiC! It looks like you have a great stable of cameras at your disposal. I took a look at your SmugMug images and can see that you have had the opportunity to shoot in a number of great locations. I'm looking forward to seeing your postings.
The tutorials can be extremely helpful as can getting feedback on your images from fellow photographers on the forum. We're all here to learn and it is amazing how much we can learn from each other.

Hi Jim,
Well I can match you on a couple of cameras
If they made a D7100 with a flippy screen, I would be tempted
Look forward to seeing you in the site.
