Cute! You have a unique way of showing your youth on your images. The effects you added seems to complement your shots. I like it! Good job, Febriana!
Hi Mr. Jiro,
Thank you for your comment ! Bytheway, now I like portrait , what kind of lens that will suit my needs ? I am planning to buy Cannon DSLR ( I like Cannon !) what type do you suggest ?
Thanks !
I haven't played that much with portraiture, Feb. I'm more into street photography and photojournalistic style at the moment. If you're going to buy a DSLR that has a DX body, then try to find a lens that can zoom up to 85mm, so that would mean somewhere near a 50mm lens. The standard 18-55mm kit lens is not that bad if I am not mistaken. That would suffice for a start. If your parents are going to be more generous and let you have a full frame camera then buy an 85mm f/1.8 lens! You'd be one lucky girl to have that at such an early stage of your photography. Just make sure your grades are up so you can ask them that. Hahaha!
Hi Mr Jiro,
Thank you for your input. I'll ask my parents for that lens..hope I'd be lucky..
Have a nice weekend !
Hi Fabriano,
I like your style too, and can recommend the 50mm, F:1.4 for shooting portraits. Its good indoors and in low light and very sharp. For street photography or shooting people unawares I use the 70 - 200mm F:2.8 or the 100mm macro F:2.8. There are plenty of options but it will depend on budget and where you are shooting (in or outdoors) as well as the range. I hope this helps, and I encourage you to keep experimenting, you have a unique eye and talent.
Great originality and talent, Febriana; I am really looking forward to seeing more. Gillie
Hi Mr Wayne,
