    Hi Bobo,
I think 1 could do with a tighter crop, 2 and 3 blend into the background because of the subjects similar colours.
4, 5 and 6 are nearly there but maybe a different angle to get some eyeball action going. I know it's not easy, they are not very co-operative at times.
The bonus shot is of a species I not familiar with in the spider family but the curves and texture of it's body are somehow very pleasing to the eye
    Nice work

The first three are a member of the Tetragantha family but they are impossible to fully identify from photos.

Plenty of detail on #3 though.

#4 to 6 are actually Harvestmen not spiders. Opiliones to give them their formal overall title.

Those long black legs make me think about a female of one of the Leiobunum species but you need some really close shots of the body from several angles to be certain of an identification.

And finally, something pleasing for the arachnephobes.

Thanks Geoff for another very educational post.

To me 8 legs = spiders. Now I know better.

So that everyone know - in Chinese the same phrase is used in a spider's name (jumping spider variety) and also to describe a silken haired F probably due to the hair similarities.

Thanks Greg - 4, 5 and 6. It was possible but then would have had to do without the legs - and it just was not interesting enough without them.
