Traveling Light

I have a couple of Canon DSLRs, but sometimes I like to travel light. I have an old Fuji F-20 that fits in my pocket and I think it takes pretty good images for its size. I was just wondering if anyone else has this thought also. It has a close-up, Landscape, Portrait, Sport, Night, etc shooting modes.

My son has one of those and its a little cracker. Well made, good sharp lens and pretty responsive.

Emmett, feel free to post any image you like so long as it is not offensive. About half of my images are done with a Point 'n Shoot. For me it all depends on conditions and what camera I have handy at the moment. Take a look here for posting images at normal sizes that are easier to see: HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?

This one was shot in the "Landscape" mode. I take this camera when we go fishing, it fits in my pocket.

Beautiful Photos! I have a P&S that takes great pics... my best pics of the moon have been taken with that camera..... I mostly use my DSLR because I am trying to learn it...

I too have a Fuji camera as well as my Canon DSLR. I wouldn't part with my Fuji as it produces some great shots; I make out that it's all down to my 'Skill' lol, but if that was true why do the pictures taken with my Canon never look so good.

I have a very old Olympus C5050Z which is really a P&S camera of the 20th Century. I am still amazed at the capabilities of this old camera. I think that it provides better IQ than my wife's recently purchased anon P&S. It also has RAW capture capability which few contemporary P&S cameras included.

Here, quoted from it, is the Part 2 that you are omitting.

Part 2: How to make an attached thumbnail appear larger and inline

1. Click the image to make it bigger
2. Right-click on the image and select "Copy Image Location" (in Firefox) or "Copy Shortcut" (in IE)
3. Click "Edit Post" and position the cursor where you want the image to appear, then use the "Insert Image" icon and Paste (Ctrl+V) the shortcut into the dialog and click "OK"
4. Click "Save Changes" button.
   (if you attached more than one image, repeat steps 1-3 for each to get the bigger images inline)

Sometimes; when you do Part 2 step 1, it goes to the image, so you may need to use your browser's "Back" button between steps 2 and 3.

i too have a canon dslr. it is already tiny as its just a t2i and a prime but i like to have an even more compact camera as i like to go to parties and get crazy drunk. cool story on my dslr; i went to finally upgrade my very first dslr from a rebel xs to the t2i specifically for a three day music festival i was going to attend solely for better iso handling and video capabilities. i bought it before the weekend and woke up on the sunday with the LCD cracked. never got around to fixing it or finding out how that happened.

anyway, enough of that cool story. heres a cool photo taken with my cool pns canon s95
