Re: Blo' Norton, Norfolk
Both shots are nicely exposed and sharp for a start with a good range of tones. The first image has an interesting sky to complement the windmill but for me there is too little of the mill and a little too much distraction in the foreground. It kind of leaves me wanting to see more of that mill. I might have walked forward a few feet if it was possible or elevated the camera to capture more of the mill and less of the foreground. The second shot is really nice and the warm tones work really well with it. This shot captures the essence of the scene somehow and, for me, has an intimacy and a real sense of place. I might clone out the grass on the extreme left running along the border but that's a minor point. I don't know whether it needs something else, a point of focus if you will but can't imagine what. Either way I really like this one, definately my favourite of the two.
