Nice grebe shots paul. My only critique, is with #3. The upper portion of the image doesn't add anything to the composition. I think its a much stronger image if you place the grebe's eye on the horizontal 1/3's line, cropping the top half of the image off.

I love the shots too. And what a great subject to spend time with! I would agree with Steve on #3 - that was the first thing that came to my mind but otherwise it's my favorite.
