Got within a mile and the parking was gone.....this was 2 in the afternoon. While I was still game {kinda} I past the park. The park has never had a gate...it does today and going through this gat was a line two blocks long in bothe directions and 3 people wide. No thanks.

Ok that's it I MUST ask the noobish question.
I have a Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens. I don't think there is any way I could ever manage to produce this kind of shot with a 60mm focal length...
What are you using?

Thank you for the comments, James, Steve, Mike and Terri. I am glad they were enjoyed. I would have like to shoot the fireworks again but am happy to have not delt with the crowd and quite pleased with the alternative.

More lovely shots and you got a head on. Man, am I jealous...
If you go around again keep a watch out for joined pairs in flight. Would be awesome to catch that.

I feel you pain. I only posted this one to say.....I am trying. lol The seem to fly very irregular and never go where you think when hooked up. They are also surprisingly fast.
