About 3-4 years ago, we lost our 2 dogs and cat in the space of 12 months. Shortly afterwards, “Chooky” flew over our fence, and into our empty nest. She has since lived free range in our back yard.
This was snapped using a point and shoot one morning when Patricia was a little late with the breakfast scratch mix (she will peck the corn out of Patricia’s hand, but leaves the wheat for the doves).
Chooky likes to burrow deep into the densest parts of the garden, leaving presents for us to search for. We found this cache under a secluded bush.
Further exploration revealed another batch – difficult to get a camera in there.
It’s like an Easter egg hunt all year around. Pictures are all just snaps to tell a story, so I have not included shooting details etc.
