Pacific Photographic Society Photographic Society, San Diego, California
Here is the webpage from my club, Pacific Photographic Society that was devoted to a shoot at the Del Mar polo match. My photos are towards the end of the group. It was a great time and a great place to shoot...

Upcoming events which I will attend are:
The Zombie Walk: http://www.meetup.com/pacificphoto/events/71312342/
This should be lots of fun...
San Diego Gay Pride Parade: http://www.meetup.com/pacificphoto/events/67790302/
Regardless of a person's feelings towards alternate lifestyles, the parade is exceptionally photogenic!
San Diego State University Architectural Shoot: http://www.meetup.com/pacificphoto/events/72268872/
I am an alumnus of San Diego State University but never shot the buildings when I attended that school.
If anyone who lives in the Greater San Diego Area would like to join a great bunch of photographers who have lots of shoots and almost no formal club meets, I invite you to join the Pacific Photographic Society.
Here is a calendar of events: http://www.meetup.com/pacificphoto/events/calendar/
Here is the home page with information about joining. It is absolutely free except sometimes there is an admission fee to the events we shoot: http://www.meetup.com/pacificphoto/

I wonder how they did at the San Diego July 4 fireworks? That would have been a disappointing surprise for someone who took the time to set up for the evening.

Or if a photographer was ready, it might have a magnificent single shot! I didn't attend the fireworks spectacular but, wasn't that spectacuar?
BTW: For folks who have not heard, through a computer glitch all the fireworks for the expected twenty minute show went off in one twenty-second burst! Luckily no one was killed or injured.
I belong to several groups and will be attending a model shoot tomorrow evening on Mission Bay in San Diego. I like these model shoots because models, make-up-artists and hair stylists get together with photographers. We shoot the models and provide images for them and for the hair stylists and make-up-artists. It is really great to shoot pretty ladies who have been professionally made up and who have had their hair professionally styled. These are win-win situations...
