I prefer the second as the crop in the first is rather abrupt at the bottom .

I agree Geoff..but asked to make a straight choice I find the abrubt crop more of a problem .
I like to see a flower given space to reach it's natural shape which is a big part of its attraction to me...unless it's a macro of the centre.
