Bempton Cliffs
Went to Bempton Cliffs to photograph the sea birds too much mist coing in from the north sea so I took the cliffs instead.

Re: Bempton Cliffs
So often, misty scenes just look out of focus. For me, they need a sold 'reference point'; which you have with the right side cliff.
Mist is something which we are having to accept in the UK this summer. But at least it makes a change from rain.

Re: Bempton Cliffs
Peter, maybe if the weather was good and you'd have gone for the sea birds you wouldn't shot such a nice photo. I like the atmosphere of it! Well done...

Nice shot Peter, I think if you crop out the sky at the top, it tends to draw my eye,

Re: Bempton Cliffs
Hi Peter,
I like it, although I think Pat's idea is valid.
Personally, I would have lightened the mid-tones a little, it comes across as just a bit too dark/contrasty for me.
That said, I like it a lot and if I'd been there, might almost feel grateful for the nice light and atmospherics, bet they are rarer than shots of birds on cliffs (which was all I got on a hazy sunshine day when I visited)
Cheers,
