    Something from the Weekend

With all the events going on this weekend in the UK I was (un)lucky enough to be working Anyway i thought some of you might like to see how i spent my saturday (other that getting soaked) and sunday.
I know there not the best photo's but they are a little different. I cant disclose the location other than the south of the uk.

    1. Something from the Weekend
This is how we arrived with it

    2. Something from the Weekend

    3. Something from the Weekend
Just after mounting it on the plinth. Nothing of the wings going on as it was vile weather and we were busy sadly.

    4. Something from the Weekend
    Nose backwards

    5. Something from the Weekend

    6. Something from the Weekend
The team that built it. (I'm second on the left)

Just thought it would be something different for people to see. Let me know what you think

Looks like it is being setup in some museum or permanent display in some airbase or military compound. As you cannot say where, it is probably the latter.

Nice shots pic wise. Could use a bit of a curves adjustment to get the contrasts up a bit and some sharpening.

It is a harrier gr3. Was being set up as a "gate guardian" on an establishment. I didn't think they were the best photos so there is minimal PP done. I just thought it was a bit more "different" to the norm

    Hi Paul
I like the 5th shot. If you had gone for the other side, would you have been able to get the same shot but without the buildings behind ?
    Just a thought!

shot number 4 is the other side but it was mounted at an awkward angle and would not have got the pic as well as in the 5th.
And i found the grave yard 100 yards from my house its not the best photographically but it will do to practice in.
Should have a few new aircraft shots next week as im off away for a week getting bored in a tent somewhere so the camera will be going with me
