Certainly an odd angle there, Tim.
Basically, well photographed.
Personally, I'm not keen on having a lot of space behind a bird, or insect, as it seems wasted to me. A bit different if it is 'flying towards the space'.
So I would crop a little tighter on the right and bottom. Although something of a personal preference.
And those spots of water dropping from it's back tend to look like dust spots so I would clone them out. If they definitely looked like water spots I would leave them. For example, if the bird was just taking off.

Hi Tim,
As Geoff says well photographed, I find that it is only on odd occasions that the head and beak being face on to the lens will work, if the birds head was tilted slightly to its right the image would look better. Also backgrounds that are to cluttered can take the emphasis away from the bird, all in all well photographed, keep it up,
Best Wishes, Pat.

thanks for the feed back, i agree with the back ground, but that was how it was, thanks for the advice for about flying into space, makes a lot of sense, however i do like the water drops and the crop needs a touch of work. Cheers for your comments all taken on for next time.
