Hi Tareq - You've gone to town with some of these images!!! One general point strikes me - this ought to be a post/thread used to illustrate the varying possibilities of HDR tone-mapping techniques, from the beautifully worked sunrise/sunset images at the sea shore to the OTT in-your-face shots of Kelvingrove Art Gallery (a place I know from my boyhood and more recently since its refurbishment). If the moderators were to take up this idea, you might want to edit the post to include details of camera, shooting conditions, and software used to carry out the HDR work, along with processing details.
Cheers
David
Hi Dave - My idea was that this post, if modified to include camera and processing information might be one to flag in some way as providing examples of the range of possibilities from HDR imaging. I'm not sure of what moderation techniques there are to achieve this - ?? a permanent hot thread designation??
No big deal either way.
Cheers
David
Hi David,
I appreciate your comments or post really, and i also see that a good idea, but it will take me longer time to write for each, and to be honest, i can tell only the cameras and lenses used and i can only mention if it is normal by bracketed original shots HDR or just fake [Pseudo] HDR, but i can't tell what was the processing, i will not say mine is special but after there are really many many people asked me how so i decided to keep the secret of my overall process, and i think the Adminis. Colin here will see that nothing special at all in my HDR and it is not a secret and even he can do much much better and sure he will have lots of critiques about my HDR, so it is not worthy that i should post all the details, and i can give you a tip that if you can give me great files whether bracketed or single i can guarantee you that you can have an amazing HDR, i always use filters and whatever to get the original out of camera shots good enough and great to work with, just i don't waste my time on bad results even if HDR can enhance it a bit, HDR can help but not to turn bad garbage exposed shots to fine arts.
Thank you very much, Dave!
No, i don't have been busy with anything, all or most of these shots are of my travels overseas or outdoor in my country, and i just come back home and choose some of them and use HDR, in fact i was using HDR since 2006 but i didn't care much about it, but the last 2 years i found many people are talking and using this technique so i went back to it.
Tareq you got the water over the waterfall very well gives me something to aim for. I fact looking again they are are all very good regards. Leigh
