Re: Watching for the Bus
Kevin: love the deep rick textures of the blacks and the fine details great image. Just a side note that looks very much like one of my best friends, who sadly passed away 3 years ago this Dec. I really had to look close to it, because I had seen that look so many times on this face. Brought back good memories.
Cheers:
Allan

Thank you, Allan
My wife wondered if Ernest Hemingway had dropped in for a visit

Re: Watching for the Bus
Next bus 2013; not the time, the year. I've been there so often, we have timetabled 1 a hour buses that I have waited four hours for.
I can see a two tier society; with the internet friend I can find reliable high quality travel but still can't go anywhere, if I wanted to go to a deer park nearby, no chance.
He looks like me waiting for a scheduled bus that isn't going to turn up. Good photo

Kevin,
I like that image SO Much! I love the way you used the flower containers to pull our eyes directly to the man's face. His head is at the very end of the diagonal. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoy your work

I love the way that the planters form lines leading me to your subject and I like that he is brightly lit. All around very nice job. I know there are often "Elvis sightings" but, a "Papa Hemmingway sighting?"

Re: Watching for the Bus
This is one of those I missed by being away.
What really grabs my attention are the wonderfully rich tones right across the image. Wonderfully finished.
