    Hi all.

Just discovered CiC via the ePHOTOzine site.

I have been into photography for many years(though somewhat lapsed for a while)then Digital came along, goodbye prosessing costs! hello inspiration ..

Started 5 ish years ago with a 2mp compact and had to relearn what i thought i knew with the new format,i now use 2 Nikons,a D60 and a D90 with a passion for Wildlife photography..

I post on another general art site, but a photography only site would suit me more now i feel.

That will do for now, looking forward to chatting and learning..

I believe I already said welcome to you in your other post/question, but who's counting, eh?

What lens(es) do you have for the wildlife?

Hi Dave, yep you did ,rather be welcomed twice than not at all.

I am using a Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G AF-S VR for the longer work(not ideal, but it will do until i can finance something longer ).

For close work its either a Nikkor 18-55mm AF-S DX VR + macro filters,or a Helios 50 mm prime and extention tubes..

    I am a Nikon user too,with a D60 and a D90..

is Wildlife an interest of yours?.

    Hi Martin,

Yes it is, with a preference for birds.

I gave up trying to afford anything longer than my 70-300mm for the DSLR and got a Nikon P510 with an equivalent focal length of 1000mm

    Cheers,
