Dome and walkaround at Perlan, Reykjavik, Iceland

This is a shot I took of the Done and walkaround at the top of the hot water tanks at Perlan, in Reykjavik that store and supply hot water for heating in the city. Had some reflection of the sky in the glass of the dome, some nice cloud in the back ground, a bright morning with a strong sun facing into it to take the shot. It has been sometime since I took the shot in May of this year, looking at is wondering how to present it, so I just let it take me wherever it wanted, another one that has taken me to the darkside. I like the desaturation of most of the colour, but keeping some in the dome's reflections. I like it.

Allan, great picture. I felt like playing Resident Evil and having to break one of these dome glasses to enter next game stage! I mean, to me, it is a photo that summons imagination! Thanks for sharing it...

I was taken up in that very same spacecraft, but thye wouldnt let me walk on the balcony.. Superb image and the selective desaturation works really well
