Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

    Re: Girl

Nice pose and very interesting way to frame the shot. The softness really does complement the subject well. The skin tone of the subject looks very good to me (and one of the best I have seen so far from any shots I've noticed). This is the kind of shot that I would really love to emulate and learn from. Thank you very much for sharing this. Was this purely natural window light photography? I'm having a hard time analyzing the catchlights since the shot is a bit small.

Hi Slaven (is that your first name?),

Welcome to the CiC forums from me, great to have you dive in with such a good image.

There's really not a lot wrong with this; due to her very pale complexion, it is verging on too bright, but I can see you have already exercised restraint with the histogram/levels.

The hair clips are a minor distraction, but expect she won't want to be without them

To me everything else does work well; composition, focus, focal length choice, depth of field, etc.

EXIF data (this helps people give you more relevant feedback)
    Canon 450D at 85mm, f/4, 1/200s, iso 400

    Well done,

I agree with all of the affirmative comments except the crop. I'm almost always a fan of tight crops though this one is too tight for me. I would like to see a lot more on the right side so her left hand and her hair clip would be fully displayed. Both are integral parts of her age, pose, and the overall style of the image.

Wonderful capture. I would be curious to see a wider cropped image as well. Though, for me, this image works really well.
