To be honest, I haven't been able to get out shooting much recently - and this is one that I've always wanted to shoot (it's 5 min drive from where I live), so I thought I'd "go zap it" tonight.

Would be intereting to get inside - there are a few around here like that. I might do a series of them.

Not sure what the "story" is with them (not that there's that many of them) - no doubt some are used as hay barns / chicken coups etc. All are on farm land, so space isn't really an issue.

Nice shot. I love to shoot old vehicles, houses and barnes....there's always an untold story behind the image.

Thanks for the kind words Yes - I used an EF70-200mm F2.8L IS USM, @ 200mm (off memory). It was only intended as a "shot whilst I'm waiting for a real shoot" type thing, but it is growing on me

I processed it on my uncalibrated home PC - it did take a bit of coaxing to get the tones where I wanted them, looking at it at work I might just raise the black clipping point a little to make it a touch more contrasty.

It was really just a fun shoot, but it's growing on me
