@MilT0s: There is nothing real special about lighting techniques, I usually take flashlight(s), sometimes manually controlled, sometimes TTL, mainly together with rather high aperture values.
I use to make a series of pictures of the same subject with different settings, and lateron on during processing I decide, whats the most atmospheric one.
