Hello!
I'm brand new to the forum. My name is Cliff McCartney and I live in Knoxville TN, USA. I was a very active photographer in high school and shortly thereafter. I worked in a color lab were I developed thousands of pictures over a couple of years, but life intruded in my 20s and I (sadly) drifted away from my photography. I'm now in my 50s and I'm finding the time to spend on it again. I just recently purchased a Nikon D7000 with a few kit lenses (yeah, I know) and I'm dying to get started (re)learning from the ground up. I live in a beautiful part of the USA, and I have an abundance of opportunities to take landscape and nature shots. I also hope to learn how to shoot great portraits.
I'm glad to be here and to have an opportunity to learn from all of you!
