Very first reaction was - How tightly is that cropped already and do we need to see as much of the legs? Could it be cropped in tighter so that we see more of the body?

Ideally, Donald, crane fly photos come as a group. Which means an overall shot which shows the leg lengths, similar to Pat's photo here, plus some close up shots of other relevant angles.
But the models don't always cooperate.
Anyway, from what we can see here, it is one of the Tiger Craneflies, Nephrotoma family. But rather difficult to fully identify without perfect photos of all the necessary areas.
