Giza Pyramid
This is a monochrome version of a color slide captured in 1997. I made it to resemble the appearance of an albumen print, which is a kind of print made predominantly about 1850 - 1910. (The Egyptian pyramids were heavily photographed at the time using this technology.) I have never seen a modern albumen print, but the 19th century prints have this tone perhaps largely because acid-free papers were not available then and the paper has colored with age.
C&C encouraged, as always.

Re: Giza Pyramid
Mike,
I like the composition of this picture. It is always easy to take a picture showing the whole Pyramid from a distance, this IMO is something a little different. I have never heard of 'albumen print' but sort of know what your talking about, I like the concept of this picture.
Well done.
