I am proud of this...
Although this is not a great image, it is a memorable image for us...
Giselle is a young rescue Maltese who has experienced a hard life. Her original owners tied her outside 24/7 using a piece of cord which became embedded in her neck. Then she was placed in an animal shelter where she was beaten up by bigger and more aggressive dogs. She was scared of people and all other dogs (especially bigger dogs) and was terrified of being outside.

Enter Holly our 65-pound Goldendoodle who has the capability of gaining the trust and affection of even the most terrified little dogs. We had Giselle for only about two weeks when I saw her outside with Holly. They were sleeping next to each other in the iceplant (which is Holly's favorite bed outside).
The pair woke up as I opened the door to shoot the picture but, the image is still memorable for us. We call our Holly, "The Maltese Whisperer!"

We had a similar experience with a rescue beagle and our old Lab. It's enough to make you cry. Give them both ear scratches for me. Great Pic BTW

Richard,
I have not commented before about your work in dog rescue but the story(and photos of) about Giselle is/are great.
You have brought a dog back from a dreadful existence to what is a family life she can be very happy with, until (or if) she moves on.
I am not surprised you say that you are proud of it. Well done mate.
Dave
